What I do, and what I don’t
Heavy-handed chasing can cost you the customer. Some of it is also illegal.
What I do
- ✓Two weeks of remindersSent on a schedule, not all at once. Then I stop and tell you.
- ✓I stop the moment it is paidTell me, and nothing else goes out.
- ✓A dispute stops me tooIf your customer says the work was not right, tell me and everything stops. That is between you and them.
- ✓Replies come straight to youIf your customer writes back, you answer them, not me.
- ✓Your money goes straight to your bankI never receive it or hold it.
What I don’t do
- ×No phone callsI do not ring your customer, and neither does a call centre.
- ×No letters, no visitsEmail and text only.
- ×No threatsI never mention court or bailiffs, or anything else that will not happen.
- ×No interest or feesI ask for the amount on your invoice and nothing else.
- ×Not a debt collectorI am not one, and I never say I am.
What it costs
£49 is one and a half percent of a £3,200 invoice. Chasing it yourself costs nothing, and takes about 86 hours a year.
- ✓Texts and emails, spread over two weeks
- ✓Everything stops the moment you say it’s paid
- ✓A copy of every message sent, yours to keep

Questions
A customer hasn’t paid for work I’ve done. Where do I start?
Email me a photo or a PDF of the invoice, along with the name and mobile number of whoever owes you. I come back to you the same day with how to pay, and the first message goes out once it is. There is no account to make and nothing to set up. If you would rather do it yourself first, here is the full guide with templates you can copy.
Are you a debt collector?
No. I am a messaging tool. The reminders go out on your behalf, and your customer pays you directly. I never receive or hold the money, I do not buy debts, and I do not take a cut.
When and how do I pay the £49?
£49 an invoice, paid once, before anything goes out. Send me the invoice and I will come back to you the same day with how to pay.
Can you guarantee I’ll get paid?
No. What I can promise is that the reminders go out on time, every time, without you writing them.
What if they’ve already paid?
Tell me, and everything stops within seconds.
What if they say the work wasn’t right?
Their reply comes straight to you. Tell me and everything stops, same as if it had been paid. A disagreement about the work is between you and your customer, and I stay out of it.
Do you add interest or fees to what they owe?
No. I ask for the amount on your invoice and nothing else. If you want to claim statutory interest on a business invoice, that is your right and your decision, and I stay out of it.
